Akshay Kumar was born as Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia on September 9, 1967. Akshay Kumar used to work as a chef in Bangkok before coming into films. He also pursued martial art training in Hong Kong. He is also popular as the "Bruce Lee of India". His debut film was Saugandh. Most of his earlier movies were action movies. Recently, he has also acted in some comedy films such as Hera Pheri, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Garam Masala. All these movies stood well at the box office and he is constantly raising his status in the film industry. Akshay Kumar does lots of stage shows as well.
